Eighth grade students Sophie Wilds, Vada Reinhardt, and Annie Bray hosted a successful diaper drive at Little Jimmy's restaurant in Urbanna to kick off their National Junior Honor Society community service project. Several MCPS staff members came out to support their efforts. The diapers will be donated to families in need through the Middlesex County Department of Social Services.

Our Middlesex Elementary School students completed a part of the Kindness Challenge. This was a great way to end the month on a positive note.

At the school board meeting on Monday evening, the board recognized the second quarter Navigators for deeper learning. The recipients of this award were nominated by students, staff, and community members. Congratulations to our second-quarter Navigators!
