MCPS hosted professional development for the Region 3 history/social science teachers regarding new guides, standards, and skills in practice for the 2025-2026 curriculum implementation. Christonya Brown from the VDOE provided an opportunity for K-12 educators to observe the vertical articulation of content and skills and how they can shape classroom instruction.

Thanks to Cynthia Pack and Kristen Connelly for supporting our MCPS new teachers and mentors by hosting a workshop during our professional development day.
