MES 5th graders brought black history to life. 5th grade students presented different historical figures for the school and also to parents and the community.








Middlesex Athletics for the Week of March 10-15, 2025

Congratulations to Thomas Dobb and his commitment to Roanoke College Track & Field.
Middlesex High School hosted a career fair with over 30 businesses, schools, and military recruiters. Students were able to explore different career pathways after high school by engaging with different representatives from the YMCA, Drying Company, Bay Aging, JMU, VSU, Air Force, and the National Guard, to name a few.










Eighth grade students Sophie Wilds, Vada Reinhardt, and Annie Bray hosted a successful diaper drive at Little Jimmy's restaurant in Urbanna to kick off their National Junior Honor Society community service project. Several MCPS staff members came out to support their efforts. The diapers will be donated to families in need through the Middlesex County Department of Social Services.

Our Middlesex Elementary School students completed a part of the Kindness Challenge. This was a great way to end the month on a positive note.



MHS students visit the Black Business exhibit at the Middlesex Museum. They did two projects: scavenger hunt of businesses, and mapping project with the green books.

Congratulations to Dr. Seitz! Dr. Seitz is now a contender for the Commonwealth's Superintendent of the Year award which will be announced later this spring.
