How to Apply

The Screening Process

Our team completes a screening process to gather baseline information on your child's progress on meeting developmental milestones, to determine eligibility for programs, and plan for instructional programming. The screening process can also be used to determine potential need for additional services.

Three screening events are held per year by the early childhood team at Middlesex Elementary School. Participating in one of these events is the primary way to apply for the early childhood program for your 3 or 4 year old student. If you apply after the screening events, applicants are still evaluated on a rolling basis after the initial acceptances are sent. If you have missed the screening events and would still like to apply, please reach out to the Middlesex Elementary main office and ask to speak to the PreK coordinator.
