Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)
Committee Charge
To further the education of students with disabilities through participation in general education programs, advocacy, communication, and community education
Membership
A majority of the committee shall be parents of children with disabilities or individuals with disabilities. The committee shall include one teacher; additional school division personnel shall serve only as consultants to the committee
SEAC meetings are where individuals with disabilities, families and support caregivers can make connections, find answers to their questions and gain understanding that improve quality of life. These meetings are open to the public. If you know anyone that would like to join us, please feel free to invite them to come.
Federal Programs Advisory Committee (FPAC)
The Federal Programs Advisory Committee is composed of representatives from the community, parents, teachers, and administrators involved in Title I and Title III programs. The selected members will meet twice per year to provide feedback regarding programming and decisions as stated in federal and state legislations to include program development, implementation, and evaluation. These meetings are open to the public and allow stakeholders to engage in two-way, meaningful communications involving policies, funds, evaluation, student learning, and school activities.

All meetings are held at the School Board Office, 2911 General Puller Hwy, Saluda, VA 23149 at 3:30pm.
